On June 11, 2025, the Santa Barbara Altar Knights hosted a friendly basketball and volleyball game against the Ministry of Altar Servers from St. James the Greater Parish, Maasin, Iloilo. Despite the unpredictable weather conditions, the event turned out to be a resounding success, showcasing the teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie of the participating altar servers.

The game was a testament to the power of faith and friendship, demonstrating that even the most challenging circumstances cannot dampen the spirits of those who come together in the name of fellowship and fun. The altar servers from both teams displayed remarkable skill, determination, and enthusiasm, making the event a memorable one for all involved.

The success of this friendly game would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of many individuals. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friends from Maasin for joining us in this event, and to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen.

This event served as a reminder that our bond as altar servers goes beyond the walls of our churches. We're not just brothers in faith, but also friends who can come together, have fun, and support one another in good times and bad. The experience reinforced the importance of building relationships and fostering a sense of community among altar servers.

We hope that this event will serve as a catalyst for future gatherings and activities that will strengthen our bonds and deepen our faith. We look forward to more opportunities to build our community and grow in faith together.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Altar Servers
